On the morning of July 9th, Vietnam Airlines, in collaboration with Hue City People's Committee and Phu Bai International Airport, held a special ceremony to welcome a milestone flight in celebration of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam's tourism sector. The event also aims to respond to the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 and honored the airline’s 350 millionth passenger.

On the evening of July 8th, Hue City Tourism Association held a gathering to mark the 65th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam’s tourism sector (July 9th, 1960 – July 9th, 2025).

On July 8, the Traffic Police Department, Hue City Police reported that a task force from the unit had just used a specialized vehicle to promptly transport a young girl to the hospital.

On the morning of July 8, Hue Central Hospital announced that the unit had discharged and celebrated the successful recovery of the 18th heart transplant patient, N.V.Q (42 years old), residing in Quang Ngai province.

The contributions and legacy of Diem Phung Thi - a sculptor, have left a profound impact on the global sculpting scene. Hue is fortunate that she chose to return and spend the rest of her life here, ultimately donating her artistic legacy to the city. Since then, many artists have come to visit, drawing inspiration and creating their own works as if they engaged in a boundless “conversation”.

From July 5th - 8th, a delegation from Hue City, led by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong, participated in the 47th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC 47) held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris (France).

On July 7, Hue College held a ceremony to sign cooperation agreement with the Global Association for Human Resources Training in Early Childhood Education in Japan.

On the afternoon of July 6, at the Oncology Center of Hue Central Hospital, the project “One Painting - Many Hopes” in collaboration with the Hue City Women Entrepreneurs Association organized the program “Sowing Little Sun”. Spanning a total water surface area of more than 210 km², Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon system,consisting of three main lagoons: Tam Giang, Thuy Tu, and Cau Hai, is often praised as a natural masterpiece bestowed upon Hue. The Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon system connects to the East Sea via the Thuan An inlet (Tam Giang lagoon) and the Tu Hien inlet (Cau Hai lagoon). It is the largest brackish lagoon system in Vietnam as well as all of Southeast Asia with an incredibly rich and diverse ecosystem.

More than 100 works by 41 renowned artists inspired by the literary legacy of Nguyen Huy Thiep were unveiled to the Hue public on the afternoon of July 5th at the Lan Vien Co Tich space (95-96-98 Bach Dang Street, Phu Xuan Ward).
