As part of its international cooperation program, Hue Central Hospital welcomed and worked with a delegation of South Korean partners from June 8th to 10th, 2026, to expand cooperation in healthcare, research and development (R&D), technology transfer, and the development of specialized medical services in Hue City.

Moving beyond ceremonial settings and enclosed stages within heritage spaces, Hue International Music Week 2026, a highlight of Hue Festival 2026, is designed to engage the wider community through music.

On the morning of June 5th, Hue Central Hospital hosted an International Scientific Conference between Hue Central Hospital and Taichung General Hospital (Taiwan - China) with the participation of numerous leading domestic and international experts, professors, and physicians.

On June 1, on the occasion of International Children's Day, the Charity and Social Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Hue City, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, organized the Children’s Day program 2026 for children in difficult circumstances from ethnic minority communities.

On May 27, Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, had a working meeting with a delegation from CNN International Commercial, led by Mr. Phil Nelson, CNN’s Executive Vice President, to discuss a media cooperation plan in the period of 2026 - 2030, aimed at promoting the core identity of Hue to the world.

On the morning of May 27, the University of Economics, Hue University held a press conference to announce 4 new academic programs for the 2026 admissions cycle, including Digital Marketing, International Business, Master's in Accounting, and PhD in Economic Management.

On the evening of May 25, the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2026 held a press conference to kick off the Hue International Music Week 2026, a highlight of the Summer Festival - featuring the participation of 8 domestic and international art troupes, along with many renowned singers.

The activity was organized by Hue Central Hospital in coordination with Da Nang Charity Group for disadvantaged pediatric patients receiving treatment at the hospital on the occasion of International Children’s Day on June 1st.

As part of Hue Festival 2026, Hue International Music Week 2026 will take place from June 13 to 18 on the riverside stage along the Huong River, in front of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. The event is expected to become a major highlight of the Summer Festival, bringing together artists, dance troupes, and art troupes from Vietnam and many countries around the world.

The information was announced at the “Standardizing Quality and Enhancing Capacity in Primary Care and Family Medicine Practice” international conference, organized by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University over two days, May 19th and 20th.
