On the morning of March 20, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in collaboration with Hue Institute for Development Studies and the project “Hue - A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” project (TVA project), organized the “National forum on promoting solutions to reduce plastic packaging through policies and pilot initiatives at the local level”.

On the morning of March 19, Hue City People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for 3 projects to build multi-level boarding schools, covering primary and secondary education, in A Luoi 1, A Luoi 2, and A Luoi 5 Communes.

On March 17 and 18, Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, in collaboration with Nuoy Reconstructive International (the USA), organized a reconstructive plastic surgery program, providing treatment opportunities for many patients with maxillofacial deformities while opening up prospects for international cooperation in specialized healthcare.

Within the cultural complex of Hue, if the system of palaces and royal tombs defines the face of an Imperial capital, the villages along the lagoon and coastline preserve the depth of community life. The Cau Ngu Festival of Thai Duong village, held once every three years in January at the Thuan An seaport, is precisely such a heritage - a vibrant cultural practice where community memory, maritime knowledge, and the will to survive have woven together into an enduring whole across hundreds of years.

Continuing the policy of developing boarding inter-level schools (primary - secondary) in land border communes, Hue City People's Committee is preparing to commence construction of the remaining projects in A Luoi communes.

On the afternoon of March 17, Hue City People's Committee held a sponsorship contract signing ceremony for Hue Festival 2026 with Vietnam Airlines Corporation - Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines Joint Stock Aviation Company.

Recently, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with Hue Monuments Conservation Center, held a conference to review heritage education efforts for the 2020-2025 period, while signing a cooperation program to implement the heritage education for 2026-2030.

On the afternoon of March 16, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, held a working session with a delegation from the Fundación Metrópoli (Spain), led by its founder and President, Dr. Alfonso Vegara Gomez.

Thanks to the fertile alluvial soil, reliable water sources, and long-standing farming experience, the people of Huong An Ward are gradually transforming this land into one of the largest green onion cultivation areas in Hue City.
