The second session of the 9th Hue City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term is scheduled to take place on July 10th - 11th. The Council is expected to consider and adopt 21 important resolutions, focusing on public investment, finance and state budget, digital transformation, science and technology, social welfare, and policies for public officials and civil servants in the context of implementing the two-tier local government model.

On the afternoon of June 30, Hue Monuments Conservation Center and Hue International General Hospital signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Visitors at the Hue Singing Performance Space on Le Loi Street in Hue recently enjoyed an unexpected musical experience as the powerful rhythms of the West African Djembe blended with the familiar melodies of Hue Singing. Bringing this distinctive sound to the former imperial city was Michael Schmidt Kanté, a French musician who has spent years traveling across continents to study and perform traditional music.
