In celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23, Hue Monuments Conservation Center will organize a series of educational, exhibition, and experiential activities to honor the heritage values of the Ancient Capital. These activities aim to spread appreciation for cultural heritage within the community, especially among young people.

Following severe floods, numerous relief convoys, volunteer groups, and meaningful gifts have been delivered directly to people in deeply flooded areas in Hue. These “golden hearts” have instilled faith and motivation, helping them stand firm against difficulties and rebuild a peaceful life during the Great National Solidarity Festival (November 18).

On November 19th, leaders of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City received donations from representatives of Mitani Sangyo Group, who visited Hue City and presented 200 million VND to support Hue people in recovering from the recent flood.

At the 28th specialized session of Hue City People's Council, term VIII (2021-2026), held on the afternoon of November 18, the City People's Council conducted the consolidation of several important positions within the City People's Committee. With a 100% approval rate from all delegates present, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, was elected as the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Although hundreds of thousands of pages of Han - Nom documents have been saved, many others in the community are still deteriorating, damaged, or lost for various reasons. Faced with this challenge, Hue City Library is racing against time each day in the hope of collecting and restoring them for digitization, preservation, and value promotion. A piece of good news is that the long-term plan for this work, extending through 2030, has just been approved by Hue City People’s Committee.

On the afternoon of November 14th, at 119 Van Xuan, Hue City Red Cross, in coordination with Kim Long Ward People’s Committee and the Ward Fatherland Front Committee, distributed 100 relief packages to local residents heavily impacted by the recent floods. This is one of the activities under the emergency support program currently being implemented across the entire city.

On November 14th, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, hosted a working session with China BaoWu Steel Group delegation led by Mr. Hu Wang Ming, Party Secretary and Chairman of BaoWu Board of Directors.

The working delegation of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), led by Mr. Le Manh Hung, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Members’ Council of the Group, visited and presented 5 billion VND in support to help the people of Hue City overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Amid the tranquil rhythm of life in Hue, music still finds places of its own to resonate, not on grand stages, but in small rooms, where young people freely pour their passion into an ever-growing number of local recording studios.

This was among the key outcomes shared at the Conference on Reviewing the Implementation of Resolution 05/2019/NQ-HDND issued by the Provincial People’s Council (now Hue City People’s Council) on policies supporting community-based tourism (CBT) development in Thua Thien Hue Province (now Hue City) through 2025. The conference, organized by the Department of Tourism on the morning of November 12th, gathered representatives from departments, agencies, and 40 communes and wards across the city.
