The development of a green logistics center and the establishment of a Free Trade Zone (FTZ) are viewed as strategic breakthroughs for the Ancient Capital.

On the morning of February 10, Hue City Police Youth Union, in collaboration with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center, Hue Central Hospital, organized the Red Spring Festival 2026. The event drew a large number of youth union members.

As Lunar New Year is coming to town, public spaces throughout the heart of Hue City are slowly turning into spring destinations for both residents and visitors. These days, Hue Green Parks Center is putting the finishing touches on its preparations, bringing fresh and vibrant spring colors to the city’s public spaces.

According to Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, Huyen Tran Temple Festival for the Spring of Binh Ngo 2026, themed “Honoring the Ancestors - Sacred Imprints of Territorial Expansion”, will be held on the 8th and 9th days of the first lunar month of the Year of the Horse (corresponding to February 24-25, 2026) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center (151 Thien Thai Street, An Cuu Ward, Hue City).

On the evening of January 31, Hue City Youth Center organized a traditional Tet experience program titled “The scent of Vietnamese spring”, under the theme “Spring of connection - Peaceful Tet”.

On the morning of January 17, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, Hue University, and Hue City Youth Union jointly organized the 2026 Admissions and Career Counseling Program at Hue City Youth Activity Center.

The year 2026, the first year of implementing Resolution 72-NQ/TW on breakthrough solutions for protecting and improving public health, marks a new turning point for healthcare in Hue City. Building on the strong foundation of Hue Central Hospital, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University; and a primary healthcare system undergoing comprehensive reform, Hue is steadily affirming its position as a center for advanced, specialized medical care, with a vision toward becoming a regional hub in Southeast Asia.

On the afternoon of January 12, Hue City Employment Service Center held a conference to deploy its tasks for 2026, combined with a celebration of its 35th anniversary.

This was the directive of the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, at the conference reviewing the 2025 work results and deploying tasks for 2026 of Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC), held on the afternoon of January 9th. ​

On the afternoon of January 4, the volunteer program “Radiant Spring Vibe” took place at the first-floor lobby of the Oncology Center at Hue Central Hospital, creating a warm, caring atmosphere for patients undergoing treatment in the oncology department and pediatric radiotherapy unit. The charity event was jointly organized by the “One Painting - Many Hopes” project and the City Women Business Association.
