One highlight of this year’s Job Transaction Month is the push for stronger digital connectivity. Workers can search for jobs and take part in online interviews through the Viec lam Hue platform, the job transaction floor, and the website vieclamhue.vn, making it easier to connect with businesses.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, emphasized that the Job Transaction Month is an occasion to strengthen the connections between labor supply and demand, helping workers access employment opportunities while enabling businesses to recruit workers who meet their needs.
He asked the Employment Service Center to step up surveys and forecasting of labor supply and demand, align training with recruitment needs, and prepare human resources in both quantity and quality to anticipate the operation of major projects; at the same time, businesses should improve the working environment and welfare policies to attract and retain workers.
