At the beginning of 2026, shuttlecock athlete Le Van Dong was honored with a commendation certificate from the Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee for winning the Men’s Team Gold Medal at the 3rd Asian Shuttlecock Championship in 2025.

Traditional culture is now being embraced by young people in new, youthful, engaging and accessible ways through craft village workshop tours. On May 23rd, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted held its ceremony to review the 2025-2026 school year and honor students with outstanding achievements. On May 22nd, Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School held an awards ceremony for the 2025-2026 school year to recognize and commend students who achieved outstanding results in academics, conduct, and in the city and national level competitions.

On the occasion of Vietnam’s Science, Technology and Innovation Day 2026 (May 18), Hue city launched activities to honor outstanding scientists and present awards in science and technology competitions.
