At the event, more than 200 Youth Union members, young people, delegates, and veterans watched the film ‘Mui co chay’ (‘The Scent of Burning Grass’), a deeply humanistic cinematic work that recreates the courageous fighting spirit and noble sacrifice of soldiers during the resistance war to defend the homeland.
The program continued with a discussion themed “The fiery era - Honoring the past, carrying the flame forward”, where veterans shared their memories of that fiery era, stories from the battlefield, and lessons on patriotism, the resilience in the face of hardship, and the spirit of dedication.
Their heartfelt accounts helped educate revolutionary traditions, strengthen young people’s ideals, and awaken a sense of responsibility toward their homeland and country.
