On February 13, the Red Cross Society of Hue City, in collaboration with the Red Cross Society of Phu Xuan District and Lock&Lock Vina Co., Ltd., organized a charitable event to send love and support, accompanying people to overcome difficulties caused by natural disasters.

On January 9, the Association for the Promotion of Education of Phu Loc District, in collaboration with Vietkids Association - the Social Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City, organized a gift-giving ceremony for outstanding poor students overcoming difficulties in Phu Loc District.

That is a meaningful program organized by the Dong Son Commune’s Police (A Luoi District), in collaboration with various volunteer groups on December 28 and 29.

On December 1st, Hue Educational Foundation (the Foundation) held a ceremony to award first-semester scholarships for the 2024–2025 academic year to High school and University students across the province.

On the morning of September 13, Hue City Center for Culture, Information and Sports, in collaboration with various units and donors, organized an event to give Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to 200 students in difficult circumstances in Hue City.

Dissemination information on border security and maritime sovereignty; providing guidance on communication methods when fishermen encounter difficulties at sea; as well as supporting students in drug prevention; sharing good ways to do business, and giving national Flags to locals, etc., are significant actions that are regularly done by Thua Thien Hue border defense force.

At the Award Ceremony of "L'ORÉAL - UNESCO For the Development of Women in Science" in 2023, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Thi Ai Nhung made an impression with her “typical Hue” image upon giving a presentation on the research topic relevant to the potential and application of endemic medicinal plants in Thua Thien Hue Province in supporting disease treatment for public health care. She was among three female scientists honored by L'ORÉAL - UNESCO in 2023.

With the theme "Cultural heritage with integration and development", Hue Festival 2024 will include consecutive activities taking place throughout the year. The event aims to honor and promote the unique values of Vietnamese culture in general and Hue culture in particular.

Nearly 70 doctors and volunteers of the Operation Smile worked hard from dawn to dusk at Hue Dental Hospital continuously for the past 5 days. About 100 patients with congenital defects such as cleft lip, cleft palate, maxillofacial defects... received surgeries, being given the confidence to integrate into the community...

On the car ride back to the birthplace, the family of Mr. L.V.H. in Nghe An decided to donate his son's organs at Hue Central Hospital with the desire to leave a meaningful gift like the way he shared it with everyone when he was still alive.
