Tet gifts reach 400 disadvantaged households in Quang Dien and Dan Dien

On behalf of the sponsor, Editor-in-Chief of Hue Newspaper and Radio & Television Station Hoang Dang Khoa presented Tet gifts to local households

Accordingly, the program presented 400 Tet gift packages to 400 disadvantaged households in low-lying areas of Quang Dien and Dan Dien communes (Hue City), with a total value of 200 million VND. Of these, 200 packages were delivered to Quang Dien commune and 200 packages to Dan Dien commune, with each package valued at 500.000 VND.

This funding was provided by Construction Corporation No. 1.

Speaking at the program, City Party Committee member and Editor-in-Chief of Hue Newspaper and Radio & Television Station Hoang Dang Khoa emphasized that although the gifts were modest, they carried warm sentiments extended to residents facing many hardships in life.

Hue Newspaper and Radio & Television Station was established on July 1st, 2025, through the merger of Hue Today Newspaper and Hue Radio & Television Station. In recent times, alongside fulfilling its political tasks, Hue Newspaper and Radio & Television Station has accompanied many disadvantaged cases through meaningful social activity programs.

In 2025, the unit connected organizations and individuals to support disadvantaged circumstances through the “Connecting Compassion” program and other cases, with a total value of nearly 2 billion VND. In particular, during this Binh Ngo Tet, Hue Today Newspaper and Hue Radio & Television Station mobilized support from a number of enterprises in various provinces and cities to assist residents, especially those affected by the floods in late October and early November 2025.
