More than 100 young people donate hair for cancer patients

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of March 29, at Hue Book and Culture Space (23 - 25 Le Loi Street), the Hair Donation Day, with the message “Giving hair - Giving love”, attracted a large number of students and residents. The event was organized by the “One painting - Many hopes” project in collaboration with Thuan Hoa Ward Public Career Service Center, and Hue Book and Culture Club, with the support from Loan Nguyen hair salon.

Prior to the event, 100 volunteers had registered to donate their hair. Beyond that, throughout the Day, many passersby also stopped to join the activity.

This marks the first time the project has organized an in-person hair donation event. Previously, the project mainly received hair that donors cut themselves and sent in.

The Hair Donation Day is not only a charitable activity, but also an opportunity for the community, especially young people in Hue, to demonstrate social responsibility and compassion. In the hustle of modern life with its many pressures, these small but meaningful actions help create everyday “miracles”, connecting people through kindness.

From the hair that is donated, new hopes will be woven. As the event’s message conveys, the most radiant beauty is not found in outward appearance, but in a soul that knows how to love and share.
