On the morning of July 19th, the People's Committee of An Cuu Ward officially launched the “Digital Community Center” model, bringing digital transformation closer to residents and supporting the development of a digital society at the grassroots level.

On the morning of July 4th, the Department of Engineering and Technology, Hue University held a ceremony to officially launch its Computer Engineering program and confer degrees on 68 newly graduated engineers from the 2021–2026 cohort.

The second session of the 9th Hue City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term is scheduled to take place on July 10th - 11th. On the morning of May 23rd, the University of Law, Hue University, in coordination with Da Nang Representative Office of the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam and Tilleke & Gibbins, held the opening ceremony for the 6th “Student Innovation and Intellectual Property” Competition 2026 under the theme “Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence”.

On the evening of May 15, the Department of Finance, in collaboration with the City Young Business Association, and Soc do Joint Stock Company - socsdo.vn e-commerce platform, organized a program titled “Unlocking Revenue Growth with Zalo - AI - CRM Ecosystem”. On the evening of April 24, Hue City Intelligent Operations Center (HueIOC) held a ceremony to mark its 20th anniversary of establishment and development (April 27, 2006 - April 27, 2026).

In the context of rapid global digital transformation, the digital economy is no longer an optional trend but has become a core driver of development for countries and localities. With a structure consisting of three main pillars: the core digital economy, the platform-based digital economy, and the digital transformation of traditional industries - this model is reshaping how value is created, how resources are distributed, and how social life is organized.

On March 12, the City Tax Department and Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) - Hue Branch signed a cooperation agreement to jointly provide guidance on tax policies aimed at supporting household businesses in their digital transformation.

Hue’s recognition with the Vietnam Smart City Award 2025 in the category of “Smart Governance and Administration” is not merely an acknowledgment of achievements.
