On July 30th, Hue City Department of Culture and Sports announced that Hue City People’s Committee has issued an official document approving the continuing of archaeological excavation of the remaining area approximately 200 square meters at Lieu Coc Twin Towers site (Kim Tra Ward, Hue City). The goal is to gain a comprehensive and complete understanding of the Lieu Coc temple-tower complex.

The 7-a-side Hue Premier League - Huda Cup 2025 (TPL-S5) kicked off on the afternoon of July 19 at Uyen Phuong Stadium (Tay Loc - Phu Xuan Ward). The Suzucho Karate-Do International Clubs Championship 2025 was held from May 23 to 24 at Arena No. 1 on Ha Huy Tap Street, Hue City. This first-ever tournament was co-hosted by the Suzucho Karate-Do School of Vietnam and Hue City's Department of Culture and Sports.

As part of the World EXPO 2025 held in Osaka, Kansai (Japan), Hue City Department of Culture and Sports introduced the culture and history of Hue Ancient Capital to the world. Especially this year, Hue City is hosting Vietnam’s National Tourism Year 2025.

On the morning of March 28, at the City Sports Center swimming pool, the Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports, inaugurated the Traditional Swimming Tournament for general education students in Hue City in 2025.
