The program provided a platform for parents and children to connect, offering opportunities to listen, understand, and share more amid the pace of modern life. It also served as a meaningful initiative to promote the message of building happy families, laying a vital foundation for the holistic development of children.

The program opened with vibrant musical performances by students of Phu An Secondary School, setting a joyful and friendly tone. A series of interactive activities between parents and children stood out as the highlight of the event. In the segment “How Well Do Parents Understand Their Children?”, family pairs answered questions revolving around the children’s interests, thoughts, and emotions, helping both sides better understand each other naturally and sincerely.

This was followed by the activity “Understanding: What Children Want to Say - What Parents Wish For”, which brought about many emotional moments as students and parents wrote down things they had never expressed before, from words of gratitude and apologies to their wishes within the family. Many touching moments unfolded as parent-child pairs openly shared and listened to one another, helping to bridge the invisible gaps in everyday life.

The program also featured a “Golden Bell Challenge” competition centered on family-related themes, creating an exciting atmosphere while integrating educational messages about family bonds, life skills, and mutual care among family members.

At the conclusion of the program, the Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights presented gifts to 50 participating families. Through the event, the Association hopes that each family will gain more meaningful moments of connection, thereby fostering a loving, safe, and child-respecting environment.

The “Happiness for Children” program was not only an activity in response to the International Day of Happiness, but also an opportunity for each family to reflect, listen, and share, thereby nurturing positive values in family and social life.
