On the evening of April 17, Hue City People’s Committee held a ceremony to honor and confer the title of “Honorary Citizen of Hue City” to Mr. Kang Bong Jun, a South Korean national, General Director of SMC Hue Co. Ltd., in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the locality’s socio-economic development and international cooperation.

The visit and extending Bunpimay New Year greetings by the delegation from Hue City to Champasak, Laos, demonstrated a strong commitment to concretizing high-level agreements between the two Parties and States, thereby promoting more substantive and effective cooperation between the two localities.

On the morning of April 11th in Hue, Vietnam Neurointerventional Society held the opening of the 2nd National Conference on Neurointerventional, attracting a large number of leading experts and doctors from across the country. This is an important scientific event aimed at updating the latest advances in the field of neurointerventional, while enhancing professional exchange and promoting cooperation among medical institutions.

On the afternoon of April 9th, a delegation from Hue, led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee, paid a visit, held working sessions, and extended Bunpimay New Year greetings in Salavan Province, Lao PDR.

On the afternoon of April 7, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held at the City People's Committee Office between Hue City People's Committee and the Pacific Construction Group (China), marking a new phase of cooperation in attracting investment and developing urban infrastructure.

By enhancing cooperation with organizations, businesses, and recruiters, member institutions of Hue University are gradually creating opportunities for students to gain early exposure to professional environments, enhance practical skills, and meet the increasingly demanding requirements of both domestic and international labor markets.

In the context of increasingly deep international integration, cooperation in the healthcare sector has become one of the key drivers contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, enabling domestic doctors to access advanced techniques and gradually enhance their professional expertise.

On April 4, Mr. Ho Cong Hai, Co-General Director in charge of production, R&D, and development at Kim Long Motor, announced that Kim Long Motor Company has signed a cooperation agreement with Kijsetthi Mobility (Thailand) to distribute bus models in the Thai market.

On the evening of April 3, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang had a meeting with the working delegation from the City of Krems (Krems an der Donau - Republic of Austria), led by Mayor Peter Molnar. Attending the working meeting were Austrian Ambassador to Vietnam Philipp Agathonos and Dr. Heinz Boyer, President of IMC Krems University, along with representatives from relevant departments and agencies of both sides.

Alongside activities that support and accompany businesses and investors in accessing project information and related procedures, Hue City also places emphasis on signing memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and strategic cooperation agreements with major investors to build a foundation for long-term engagement between the government and investors.
