On the afternoon of May 19th, the Sub-Department of Irrigation and Climate Change, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hue City, organized a seminar themed “Community Joins Hands in Natural Disaster Prevention and Control”.

Over the course of 2 days, from May 12 to 13, the Sub-Department of Irrigation and Climate Change, in coordination with the City Red Cross Society, organized a training course on first aid, rescue, and emergency response skills for disaster prevention and control task forces in 2026.

On the morning of December 22, a workshop was held in Hue City to launch the mission “Promoting human resource management for Vietnamese healthcare system, focusing on HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis prevention and control”. On the morning of December 18th, in A Luoi 2 Commune, Hue City Center for Disease Control (CDC Hue) held the award ceremony for the Tobacco Harm Prevention (THP) Contest for students from secondary schools in A Luoi area. The program is part of the Tobacco Harm Prevention plan for the 2025 - 2026 period and is funded by the Tobacco Harm Prevention Fund under the Ministry of Health.

Over the two days of December 11 and 12, Hue City mobilized forces and vehicles to implement peak period patrol, inspection, and control to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing; while also assessing the national defense and security situation in the city's waters.

On the morning of November 30, at the Culture and Cinema Center, Hue City Health Department organized a rally to respond to the National Action Month for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control, and World AIDS Day 2025.

On the morning of November 24, Vietnam Women’s Union, in coordination with the Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control Fund and Hue City Women’s Union, organized a launching ceremony for the 2025 campaign promoting the role of families in preventing and controlling the harmful effects of tobacco, along with a training session on building “Healthy, Smoke-Free Families".
