This December 2023, the Regional Container Lines (RCL) from Thailand opened an international container shipping route to Chan May port. This shows not only the potential and advantages of the port but also a driving force and catalyst contributing to the development of the Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone in particular and Thua Thien Hue province in general.

To date, 8 safe and organic food supply chains have taken shape in the province with 15 typical local products.

As the announcement provided by Hue University on December 3, at the national final round of English competition for students - Star Awards 2023, the team representing the Hue University excellently won the first prize.

Over the past 5 years, the spearhead education has undergone positive changes with many first prizes at the national exams for excellent students, and many subjects such as biology, informatics, and physics have made appearances at the Asian and international Olympiads. On the afternoon of November 27, Hue University coordinated with the Japan Economic Federation (Keidanren) and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) to award scholarships to students overcoming difficulties of Hue University.
