In Hue City, Typhoon No. 10 caused 1 death, 1 injury, and 89 houses to have their roofs blown off. Strong winds, large waves, and high tides caused the coastline of Phu Thuan beach area to erode, spanning about 30 - 40 meters in length, and cutting 6 - 7 meters into the land. Strong winds also sank 1 fishing boat anchored by local fishermen. Immediately upon assessing the damage, the City People's Committee directed localities to focus on recovery and support for the residents.

For the case of a woman from Thanh Hoa who was unfortunately swept away by floodwaters, the leaders of An Cuu Ward People's Committee extended condolences, supported, and mobilized residents to support the family with a total amount of over 65 million VND.

This work is expected to be mostly completed by September 30.

Mr. Hoang Hai Minh instructed localities to firmly grasp the situation, mobilize the appropriate forces to avoid overlap, and prioritize support for policy beneficiary families, people with meritorious services, war invalids and martyrs, and one-person households. Localities need to continue maintaining information and reporting work, quickly repair the damage, take good care of people’s lives, and quickly stabilize production and daily life.
