Viettel Y-Fest 2025 officially kicked off its cross-country journey from Hue from October 3 to 5, traveling through 6 provinces and cities, including Hue, An Giang, Can Tho, Dak Lak, and Hai Phong, before concluding with a grand music festival in Ho Chi Minh City.

Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh highly appreciated the thoughtful and professional preparations made by Viettel Telecom and its partners. He emphasized that choosing Hue as the starting point for the year’s largest music and technology event series holds special significance, contributing to the promotion of the Ancient Capital’s image and inspiring creativity and integration among young people in the digital era.

“We do believe that Y-Fest 2025 will create a powerful ripple effect, connecting cultural and technological values, while contributing to the goal of making Hue a city of culture and technology in Vietnam,” said Mr. Binh.

After a 3-year hiatus, Y-Fest 2025 has made an impressive comeback, becoming the most anticipated music and technology event series among young people. The theme “Harmonizing Empathy” carries a humanistic message: Technology is not just a tool, but a bridge that connects emotions and fosters sharing among people.

The event brings together many top Vietnamese and international artists, with performances varying at each destination. Notably, several artists return to perform in their hometowns, such as Quang Hung MasterD (Hue), Isaac (Can Tho), and Vu Cat Tuong (An Giang), etc.

A unique highlight of Y-Fest 2025 is the “Digital Museum”, an immersive art experience space created by the multidisciplinary art collective Fustic.Studio, the unit that has previously collaborated with institutions such as the V&A Museum (UK), the United Nations (Switzerland), TIME100, and the World Economic Forum (WEF), etc.

Unlike traditional museums, the Digital Museum is a multi-sensory interactive space where visitors not only observe but also become part of the creative artworks themselves. The space features 3 main zones: AI Y-Fest Studio – explore the digital version of yourself; Unique Strokes – create visual artworks depicting the future world; Identity Portraits – showcase real-time generative technology, powered by Viettel’s ultra-fast 5G network.

At the “Identity Portraits” area, each visitor’s face is transformed into a digital mosaic artwork, composed of fragments inspired by the landscapes, culture, and colors of Hue, the place where Y-Fest begins its journey.

Not only just a grand music festival, Viettel Y-Fest 2025 is also a journey of gratitude to customers, a celebration that inspires creativity among young people, and the opening event of a series marking the 25th anniversary of Viettel Telecom’s Traditional Day.

The event in Hue demonstrates Viettel’s commitment to supporting the city in digital transformation and creative culture development, while also encouraging young people to take pride in their identity and actively create new values for the community.
