For centuries, the land of Hue has been renowned for the skillful hands of its artisans. This region is a place not only preserves the cultural heritage of the imperial court, but also serves as the cradle that maintains and develops hundreds of unique traditional craft villages. However, in the face of global integration trends, Hue’s craft villages are confronting numerous challenges.

On the morning of September 4, the opening ceremonies of three major international events, including the 19th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC), Export Conference 2025, and the event “Connecting International Goods Supply Chain” officially took place at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). Hue participated in the event with the joint stall of three localities Quang Tri - Hue - Danang.

On the morning of August 31, the People’s Committee of Chan May - Lang Co Commune held the “Chan May - Lang Co Jogging Marathon 2025”, with the participation of over 1,000 runners in all ages coming from various localities.

The 1st Hue City Pickleball Clubs Open Championship - 2025, competing for the Huda Cup, kicked off on the morning of August 30th at Louis Pickleball Court (Hoang Quoc Viet Street - An Cuu Ward).

On the afternoon of August 29th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, met and worked with a delegation from Chungcheongnam Province (South Korea), led by Governor Kim Tae Heum.

On the morning of August 28, the Department of Home Affairs held the opening ceremony for the exhibition themed “Hue through the course of history through archival documents”. The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee.

Starting on September 9, the method of welcoming and serving visitors to the The To Mieu relic site (Hue Imperial Citadel), where the Nguyen Dynasty emperors are worshiped, will be changed. Accordingly, visitors will no longer be allowed going inside the building. Instead, they will be able to visit, explore, and offer incense from the outside.

On August 26th, at the Roppongi outlet of Matsuya restaurant chain, an event was held to launch a menu featuring “Pork rice in the style of Vietnamese com tam (Broken rice)”.

On August 25, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Hoa Chau Ward in coordination with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Hue Central Hospital organized the “Voluntary Blood Donation Day” festival.

The 2025 Hue City 7-a-side Football Club Championship, Huda Cup, concluded on the afternoon of August 24th with a dramatic final match between FC Cori - FC Khong Gian Hue. ​
