Hue City Commits to Supporting the Smooth Operations for Baosteel Can Making Co. Ltd

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Ha Van Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the company’s sustained investment and effective operations at Phu Bai Industrial Park over the past 10 years, highlighting its positive contribution to the development of the local processing and manufacturing sector.

BaoSteel Can Making (Hue - Vietnam) Co. Ltd., licensed in 2015 with over USD 84.8 million in investment. It operates a two-piece aluminum can and can-end manufacturing plant with an annual capacity of roughly 1.3 billion units per product line. The company is the only aluminum can producer currently operating in the city.

The company has maintained stable operations and positive growth. In 2025, revenue reached about VND 3 trillion, with VND 132 billion contributed to the state budget. Q1_2026 revenue was estimated at VND 800 billion, with budget contributions of roughly VND 90 billion, ensuring jobs for nearly 100 laborers.

Addressing at the meeting, Mr. Wu Jian Peng expressed gratitude for the attention and support from city leaders and relevant agencies during the company’s operations in Hue. He noted that the company will focus on stabilizing production, increasing capacity, advancing technology and expanding its market in the coming time.

The company’s representative also proposed that the city continue to provide support and favorable conditions for the investment environment and industrial park infrastructure, as well as assist with relevant procedures to enable the company to explore the opportunity to expand its production scale in the coming time.

Vice Chairman Ha Van Tuan affirmed that the city will continue to accompany, support, and provide favorable conditions in line with the legal regulations to promote the company’s efficient and sustainable operations. Furthermore, he also requested relevant agencies to coordinate, swiftly consider and resolve the company’s recommendations.
