On September 12th, at the Provincial Center for Culture and Art, the Department of Science and Technology (S&T) inaugurated an exhibition showcasing technological devices, science and technology products, innovations, and creative startup (CS) products, as well as key products from the North Central and Central Coastal regions.

On September 11, the tourism sectors of three localities, including Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam, jointly organized a tourism promotion program in Melbourne, Australia.

On August 19, the opening ceremony of the Fine arts Exhibition of the Region IV (the Northern-central region) 2024 was held at the Exhibition - Fair - Advertising Center of Thanh Hoa province, the Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station.

On the afternoon of August 18, at the Pediatrics Department of Hue Central Hospital, the Hue Brass Band held a music performance on the occasion of Ullambana Festival.

This was the focus of a training conference organized by the Natural Resources and Environmental Communication Center (under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications of Dak Lak Province. The event was held for journalists, editors, and leaders from related organizations in the Central - Central Highlands region on August 15 in Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak.

On August 12, in Hue City, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, in collaboration with the Australian Human Rights Commission (the period of 2024 - 2026), organized a training course on “Content and methods of human rights education” for teachers from five provinces and cities in the Central region, including Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, and Da Nang.

On the morning of August 8th, at the University of Arts, members of the Thua Thien Hue Fine Arts Association transported 66 artworks to Thanh Hoa province to participate in the zone IV Fine-Art Exhibition (Northern Central Vietnam) 2024.

The donated organ from a 65-year-old woman, who was relatively lightweight from Hai Duong; the time of cold ischemia during transport across Vietnam was minimized; and the need to dissect the entire heart and major blood vessels before transplantation... These challenges were overcome by the medical team at Hue Central Hospital (HCH), bringing life to a patient with end-stage heart failure.

On the morning of July 28, the project “Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam”, funded by the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) - Norway (through the WWF - Vietnam), received by Hue City People's Committee, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Tourism, organized the inauguration of 5 waiting lounges and free water stations at tourist destinations, including: Thien Mu Pagoda, Bao Vinh Ancient Town, Ban Nguyet Bridge - Me Wharf, Vong Canh Hill, and Sinh Village wrestling area (Hue City).
