With the support of the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF - Vietnam), the project to develop the value chain of native medicinal plants in the Central Truong Son region, implemented by Green Alliance Company, has brought many positive results for local people and the community.

On July 3, the project “Hue - A Plastic Reduction City in Central Vietnam”, funded by WWF-Norway, in collaboration with Co.op Mart Hue (Saigon Co.op), GO! Hue (Central Retail Vietnam), and AEON Hue (AEON Vietnam) organized the event “No Plastic Bag Month” 2025.

On the afternoon of June 27, the Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the project “Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam” under the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF - Vietnam), organized the closing ceremony and awards presentation for the “Making Hue Cleaner” Contest on the Hue-S digital platform in 2025.

On June 26th, Hue City Union of Science and Technology Associations, in coordination with Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, hosted a conference titled “From Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW, dated November 24th, 2023, of the Party Central Committee to the implementation of Resolution No. 54-NQ/TW, dated December 10th, 2019, of the Politburo on the construction and development of Hue City in the new era.”

The Cultural Heritage Law No. 45/2025/QH15, passed by the 15th National Assembly on November 23, 2024, at its 8th session, will officially take effect on July 1, 2025. For Hue, a centrally-governed municipality and Vietnam's first heritage and cultural city, the (amended) Cultural Heritage Law plays a crucial role in improving the effectiveness of managing, protecting, and promoting cultural heritage.

On June 20 and 21, at the the Training Center of Hue Central Hospital, the Neurosurgery Conference for Training Doctos and the Vietnam Neurosurgical Nursing Conference took place. The events were organized by the Vietnam Neurosurgical Society in collaboration with Hue Central Hospital.

That was the theme of the national-level scientific conference organized on June 21 by the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Hue City (Union of Associations) in collaboration with the Department of Health, the Department of Science and Technology, Hue Central Hospital, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Association, and the Infectious Diseases Association of the city. The event gathered leading experts in health, environment, and agriculture - forestry from Vietnam and abroad.

From June 11 to 13, Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the French-Vietnamese Respiratory Association (AFVP), organized an advanced training course on sleep disorders. The program aimed to update and enhance knowledge of sleep disorders for doctors and nurses from healthcare facilities across the country.

After 37 years of waiting, the Miss Vietnam beauty pageant is finally being held for the first time in Hue Imperial Citadel under the unique contexts, as Hue has just officially become a centrally governed municipality, and the city is hosting the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025.

On the morning of May 28th, the “Hue – A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” project (TVA project), in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and the People's Committee of Phu An Commune (Phu Vang District), launched a plastic-reduced tourism site at Chuon Lagoon.
