It turns hot when summer comes. Despite the fierce heat of the sun in Central Vietnam, the land of Huong River and Ngu Mount offers various fruits and flowers to serve tourists that remind those away from home.

On April 12, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a meeting and working session with Central Retail Vietnam Group, led by Mr. Olivier Bernard R. LANGLET, CEO of Central Retail Vietnam Group, on researching in investment and development in the province.

On the morning of February 23, the project ‘Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam’ (sponsored by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Vietnam through WWF-Norway) and the Provincial Center for Innovative Startup officially launched the contest “Initiatives to reduce plastic waste - Hue 2023”. The contest was held with an aim to find innovative ideas to reduce plastic waste in Hue City.

On the morning of January 1, 2023, the Department of Tourism collaborated with the Central Airport Authority, Phu Bai International Airport and Vietnam Airlines - Hue branch to welcome the first tourists coming to Thua Thien Hue by air in 2023.

That is the goal of the launching ceremony of the Plastic Reduction Action Partnership Group in Hue City, and a side event themed "Modern users - No hesitance to reduce plastics", which were held by the project "Hue – A plastic smart city in Central Vietnam", the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) - Vietnam in collaboration with Hue Innovation Hub on December 18.

On December 14, in Da Nang city, the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association (VCCA) held a ceremony to announce the typical culinary set of the Central region.

Hue Central Hospital shared that on October 7, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep - Director of Hue Central Hospital, the endoscopy department doctors collaborated with Vietnam Federation for Digestive Endoscopy (VFDE) have successfully deployed the technique to remove intrahepatic gallstones using peroral cholangioscopy with laser (Spyglass). The patient is Phan Thi T., 74 years old (from Thua Thien Hue).

On October 5, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Office in Vietnam held a Conferral Ceremony for the JICA President Award Certificate 2021 awarded to Hue Central Hospital.

The project Hue - The Urban of Plastic Reduction in Vietnam Central Region, World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF-Vietnam) has just launched the photo contest called “Plastic Heroes” taking place from September 9 to 23, 2022 to all of the people, organizations, and enterprises nationwide.
