On July 10, the University of Arts, Hue University, held a send-off ceremony for the 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign, with the participation of nearly 60 volunteer Youth Union members and students.

On July 6, the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Education, Hue University, held a send-off ceremony for the 2026 Green Summer Student Volunteer Campaign, with the participation of 62 student volunteers.

Amidst the blistering June heat of the borderland, over 100 armed forces personnel are pushing their limits in a '60-day-and-night' campaign to beat the deadline. Their paramount mission: complete construction on the A Luoi 4 Multi-level Primary and Lower Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in time for the opening drum of the new 2026 - 2027 academic year.

On June 6, the Vietnam Society of Hypertension, in collaboration with the Hue Society of Cardiology, launched the May Measurement Month (MMM) 2026 campaign and donated medical equipment to primary healthcare facilities.

On the morning of January 10, Hue City People’s Committee held an inauguration and handover ceremony for 3 houses in Khe Tre, while confirming the completion of five newly built homes and repairs to 40 others, achieving 100% coverage for eligible households across the city.

On the morning of January 7th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired an online meeting to urge the rapid implementation of the “Quang Trung Campaign” to rebuild and repair houses for households whose homes were collapsed, destroyed, swept away, or severely damaged by recent storms and floods. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, along with leaders of ministries, sectors, and localities.

On the morning of December 30, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired an online conference to review one month of implementation of the “Quang Trung Campaign”, a rapid initiative to rebuild and repair houses for households whose homes collapsed, were destroyed, swept away by floods, or severely damaged by recent storms and flooding. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, along with leaders of ministries, sectors, and localities.

On December 24, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang conducted an inspection of housing construction for people under the “Quang Trung Campaign”, the allocation of resettlement land for households in landslide-prone areas, and the processing of administrative procedures in the communes, including Khe Tre, Nam Dong, and Long Quang (part of formerly Nam Dong District).
