Over 60 Volunteers Join Green Summer Student Volunteer Campaign

Ready for the Summer Volunteer Campaign 2026

In 2026, the Green Summer Student Volunteer Campaign of the University of Education, Hue University, is carried out in A Luoi 1 Commune, Hue, an area renowned for its rich revolutionary tradition and distinctive cultural identity, while still facing socio-economic challenges that require continued support from the community.

During the campaign, the volunteers will carry out a range of meaningful community projects and activities, including the construction of a 3-kilometer “New Rural Lighting” route equipped with solar-powered streetlights. The project aims to improve road safety, enhance residents’ quality of life, and support the development of greener, smarter, and more sustainable new rural communities.

In addition, the volunteer team will construct a volleyball court and donate a garden to Hong Van Secondary and high Schools, contributing to improving facilities for education, recreation, and physical activities while fostering environmental awareness among students. The campaign will also organize a training course on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the workplace for officials and civil servants of Vietnam Fatherland Front in A Luoi 1 Commune.

As part of the campaign, the student volunteers will hold a flower and incense offering ceremony at the commune’s Martyrs’ Memorial to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence and freedom. On this occasion, the delegation will also visit and present gifts to 10 families with meritorious service to the revolution, reflecting Vietnam’s tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source”. In addition, they also present gifts to 80 disadvantaged students, providing them with encouragement to continue their education and pursue their dreams.
