On the evening of April 25, the “Mystical Imperial Palace” art program will officially launch at Hue Imperial Citadel, kicking off a series of engaging activities within the framework of Hue Festival 2026. The program will run from April 25 to 28, starting at 8:00 p.m. every night, and it will be free of charge for both residents and visitors.

Artisan of lacquer and gilding Bui Van Trinh has recently been honored with the title of Meritorious Artisan, awarded by the President, marking more than thirty-five years of dedication to preserving national cultural heritage in the field of handicrafts. Lacquer art is not only the pride of the nation’s fine arts, but also an invaluable cultural heritage. This assertion was emphasized by many experts at the seminar “The journey of Vietnamese lacquer from heritage to the future (1930 - 2030)”.

Without the need for large-scale promotional campaigns, many young people are turning to social media as their own way to tell stories about Hue.
