On November 18, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung visited and extended congratulations to the staff, lecturers, and teachers of Hue University and the Department of Education and Training on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20/11/1982 - 20/11/2025).

Hue is changing every day through its bridges. From the more-than-120-year-old Truong Tien Bridge reflecting the city’s heritage, to Phu Xuan, Nguyen Hoang, Da Vien, Thuan An, Tam Giang, etc., these bridges not only connect the roads of Hue but also symbolize the city’s reach toward the future.

Although hundreds of thousands of pages of Han - Nom documents have been saved, many others in the community are still deteriorating, damaged, or lost for various reasons. A piece of good news is that the long-term plan for this work, extending through 2030, has just been approved by Hue City People’s Committee.

On the morning of November 14, Hue Central Hospital organized a meeting for the Diabetes Patient Club in response to World Diabetes Day. Amid Hue’s unpredictable weather, there exists a quiet yet persistent “green-shirt army” - a group always ready to appear whenever a colleague is in trouble. They are the Hue SOS 247 - Grab Hue team, drivers who brave the weather day and night to rescue broken-down vehicles and help fellow riders in distress. All of it stems from one simple reason: to help one another on every road.

The event titled “Hue - Innovation for Sustainable Development” (Hue Innovation Day 2025) and the forum “Developing Private Economy in Connection with Heritage Economy Development in Hue” were recently held, opening new perspectives on harnessing heritage values as an economic resource. From the stories of young businesses to the strategy of heritage urban development, Hue is affirming its own path: Turning heritage into a sustainable development momentum.

A section of Hue Imperial Citadel wall collapsed after days of heavy rain and flooding. The fallen section, about 15 meters long, is located on the northern side of Hue Imperial City, next to the park along Dang Thai Than Street (Phu Xuan Ward).
