On the morning of May 18th, at Hue Central Hospital, Vietnam Health Workers’ Union, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, held a ceremony to launch Workers’ Month 2026 and implement the emulation movement “Health Workers' Union accompanying the health of workers in the period 2026-2030”.

In celebration of the 136th anniversary of the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), on May 18, the Nguyen Chi Thanh Merit Scholarship Fund under the Hue City Association for Promoting Education held a ceremony to award scholarships to students with outstanding achievements in the 2025-2026 National Excellent Student Competition. The award ceremony took place at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

On the morning of May 17th, Hue City Youth and Children Center organized the 6th Expanded Skills Festival for clubs, teams, and groups in Hue City in 2026 at the Quoc Hoc Stele Square in Thuan Hoa Ward.

On May 17th, the People’s Committee of Hue City held a closing and award ceremony for the 19th Hue City Youth and Children Innovation Contest in 2026. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City; Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People’s Council; and Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee.

On the afternoon of May 16th, at UK Academy Hue Bilingual International School, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with FPT Corporation, held a ceremony to honor and present awards for the VioEdu Arena in the 2025-2026 school year.

On the afternoon of May 14, at Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Young Pioneer Council of Hue City organized a flower-offering ceremony, a merit-reporting ceremony to Uncle Ho, and a commendation program honoring outstanding teachers as Young Pioneer Team Leaders and exemplary children of the city in 2026.

On the afternoon of May 10, the opening ceremony of Hue Student Football Tournament (Hue Students SV7 2026 - Intrase Cup), organized by Hue University, took place at the artificial turf field complex of Chi Lang High School.

The National 3x3 Basketball Championship for Strong Teams and U20 2026 officially opened on the evening of May 10 at Aeon Mall Hue Shopping Center.

On May 6, the University of Sciences, Hue University, held an opening ceremony for the 2026 HUSC Student Volleyball Tournament in a lively and energetic atmosphere, drawing large numbers of students, lecturers, and staff members.

On the evening of May 5, the opening ceremony of the 29th Traditional Volleyball Tournament for staff and employees in 2026 was held at the University of Education, Hue University. The event was organized by the university’s grassroots trade union.
