On July 3, the project “Hue - A Plastic Reduction City in Central Vietnam”, funded by WWF-Norway, in collaboration with Co.op Mart Hue (Saigon Co.op), GO! Hue (Central Retail Vietnam), and AEON Hue (AEON Vietnam) organized the event “No Plastic Bag Month” 2025.

On the morning of July 3rd, Hue City Blind Association (HCBA) held a mid-year review conference to assess its activities during the first six months of 2025, outline tasks for the second half of the year, and review the five-year implementation of the 2021-2025 support program for people with disabilities (PWDs).

In 2012, I first visited Chi Linh - Hai Duong and toured Con Son pagoda. Having had the opportunity to visit and worship at many pagodas across Vietnam, Con Son pagoda left a deep impression on me from the very first glance, due to its scenery, its ancient charm, and an unexplainable sense of sacred understanding. Returning in 2025, that feeling remains as intact as the first time. I respectfully share with readers some photos of this ancient pagoda, which is over 700 years old. And if you have the chance, let you visit once to admire and contemplate.

In just the first two days (July 1st – 2nd) of implementing the two-tier local government model, over 846 applications were received at 40 Public Administrative Service Centers at the ward and commune levels in Hue City. The dedication of civil servants and volunteers, along with the application of technology, has made a positive impression, helping residents quickly adapt to the administrative procedures under the new two-tier local government system.

On the morning of July 2nd, Hue City Youth Activity Center hosted the 2nd Open Youth Taekwondo Tournament - 2025.

The Department of Education and Training has just announced the second round of the admission for 10th grade at Public High schools in Hue City for the 2025–2026 academic year.

After five days of intense and thrilling competition, the 2025 National Karate Championship concluded on the afternoon of June 30th at Hue City Central Sports Arena.

On June 29, a cultural exchange activity between Hue City and the cultural tourism delegation of Nanning (Nam Ninh) City (China) took place at Duyen Thi Duong Theater. This event marked the beginning of China - ASEAN cultural exchange program 2025 in Vietnam.

On June 25, Vice Chairmen of Hue City People’s Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, and Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, conducted field inspections and working sessions with local authorities regarding preparations and operation of the two-level local government model. Leaders from relevant departments and sectors also attended the working sessions.

This is the theme of a talk aimed at spreading the cultural and spiritual values of the nation through poetry in the legacy of Emperor-Monk Tran Nhan Tong, presented interestingly by Mr. Nhat Chieu, the speaker and researcher. The event was co-organized by Legacy Brand, Hue Book and Culture Space, Tri Thuc Viet, and Lua Decor on Sunday morning (June 29) at Hue Book and Culture Space (at 23-25 Le Loi Street, Hue City).
