On the occasion of the 1st anniversary of its establishment, on the afternoon of May 30, Cecile Le Pham Art Museum (53 Ham Nghi Street, Hue City) organized a drawing competition for children, with the theme “The beauty of Hue ancient capital’s heritage through the eyes of childhood”. This activity is in response to International Children's Day on June 1.

The 2024 National Sambo Club Championship, co-organized by the Administration of Sports and Physical Training (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in Nam Dinh Province, closed on May 27. This year, in the Asia-Pacific region, among the 20 submitted dossiers is the dossier about the Nine Dynastic Urns of the Nguyen Dynasty from Hue, Vietnam.

During his childhood, President Ho Chi Minh and his family lived, worked, studied, and participated in patriotic activities in Thua Thien Hue for nearly 10 years. Eight years ago, on May 19, 2016, the heritage “Poetry and Literature on Hue Royal Architecture” (1802 - 1945) was recognized as a World Documentary Heritage in the Asia-Pacific region by the UNESCO Memory of the World Committee for Asia and the Pacific (MOWCAP).
