374 students got accepted into Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School

HNN.VN - On the evening of June 12th, the Department of Education and Training announced the admission cut-off scores for Grade 6 at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Accordingly, this year’s cut-off score is 20,25 points for the English-language class (English subject is taught as a foreign language) and 12,25 points for the French-language class (French subject is taught as a foreign language), higher than last year’s scores (18,75 and 12,25 points, respectively). The top scorer achieved 28 points across three subjects: Math, Vietnamese, and a foreign language.

For the 2025-2026 school year, Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School is admitting 360 students into Grade 6, with eight English-language classes and one French-language class. The school uses a combined method of application review and entrance exam for admissions. To be eligible for consideration, students must have achieved Excellent academic performance consistently over five years of primary school. Additionally, their combined end-of-year scores in math and Vietnamese in Grade 5 must total at least 19 points.

The entrance exam for Grade 6 was held on June 3rd, with more than 1.400 students participating. Of these, 374 met or exceeded the cut-off score, including 344 admitted to the English-language class and 30 to the French-language class.

The school is expected to accept re-evaluation requests from students between June 18th and July 1st.
