The 4th Hue Sports Festival, a sports event for community health, is taking place from July 17 to August 21. More than just a community sports festival, it is also designed to pursue broader and longer-term goals.

On the afternoon of July 30, Hue Business Association convened the 10th Executive Committee meeting of its fourth tenure (2022–2027) to review its performance during the first half of the year and set key priorities for the remaining months of 2026.

On the afternoon of July 28, Hue Department of Science and Technology held a conference to launch, introduce and provide guidance on the 2026 enterprise innovation survey. The event attracted nearly 100 businesses, along with representatives from relevant agencies and organizations.

As part of the 500-day-and-night campaign to increase efforts in the search for and collection of the remains of fallen soldiers, collect biological samples, and conduct DNA testing to identify those whose identities remain unknown, officers and soldiers of Search and Recovery Team 192 under the Hue City Military Command, together with coordinating forces, are working day and night with a strong sense of responsibility and profound gratitude. Their efforts are helping bring fallen soldiers home to their families and loved ones.

Marking the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), on the morning of July 27, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city held an incense-and-flower offering ceremony at Hue City Martyrs’ Cemetery to honor and pay tribute to heroic martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and the defense of the Fatherland.

After 4 days of taking place from July 23 to 26, the program Hue - Culinary Capital 2026, which was held under the theme ‘The Day of Hue Beef Noodle’, attracted about 48,000 tourist arrivals and generated an estimated revenue of about 12 billion VND.

On the morning of July 26, the Youth Union of Hue Newspaper and Radio-Television, in collaboration with partner organizations, organized a tribute journey to mark the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), featuring a series of meaningful activities.

The 12th International Day of Yoga and the 2nd Hue City Open Yoga Championship 2026 officially opened on July 26th as part of the 4th Hue Sports Festival 2026. The events were jointly organized by Linh Kha Yoga Club and the Embassy of India in Hanoi.

On July 25, the Khoi su tu tam Foundation held an incense- and flower-offering ceremony at Phu Gia Martyrs’ Cemetery (Phu Vang Commune) and presented appreciation gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers, families of fallen soldiers, and people with meritorious service to the revolution on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
