The exhibition ‘Golden Heritage – A Convergence of Excellence’ is being held at Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities, showcasing more than 100 valuable artifacts and sets of artifacts crafted during the Nguyen Dynasty. Each object tells a vivid story of history, fine arts, and the royal life.

From August 6 to 8, the University of Sciences, Hue University, in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Catalysis and Adsorption, organized the 13th National Scientific Conference under the theme ‘Catalysis and adsorption for the development of national strategic technologies’.

More than 10 years after winning a prize at Sao Mai 2013, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Tinh Uyen returned to a professional music competition and won the Gold Prize in the Vocal category at the Crescendo International Music Festival 2026. For her, the award not only marked her return to the stage but also gave her renewed motivation to continue conducting research, performing, and inspiring her students through music. ​

On the morning of August 1, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh, together with Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, conducted an on-site inspection of construction progress at the boarding inter-level schools (primary and secondary level) in the communes of A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4. On the night of August 1, the opening ceremony of the 4th ‘Hue Sports Festival’ 2026, a sports festival for community health, was held at Tu Do Stadium.

On August 1st (the 19th day of the sixth lunar month, Year of the Horse), the Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) - Hue City officially opened the Guanyin Festival at the Guanyin Buddhist Spiritual Tourism Center on Tu Tuong Mountain in Thuy Xuan Ward, Hue City. ​

The 2026 National Health Exercise Championship and National Health Exercise Festival officially opened on the morning of July 31 at Canh Buom Sports Arena (100 Pham Van Dong Street). The event is part of Hue Sports Festival 2026 and marks the first time Hue has hosted the national competition.

After more than three weeks, the training program on Hue-Singing (Ca Hue) performance skills for more than 180 music teachers from primary schools across Hue City, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, concluded on the afternoon of July 31.
