Teaching safe swimming skills to prevent drowning in students

TTH.VN - On December 5 and 6, at the Provincial Continuing Education Center, the Provincial Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, organized a training session on teaching safe swimming skills and preventing drowning in students.

 The officials and teachers were trained in practical content at the Provincial Sports Center

A total of 110 trainees, including officials and teachers from the Offices of Education and Training, junior high schools, and high schools under the Provincial Department of Education and Training, as well as High School for the Gifted (under the University of Sciences, Hue University), joined the training session. The trainees were equipped with knowledge, and methods for teaching safe swimming and drowning rescue; the causes and principles of ensuring safety to prevent drowning; along with methods for developing sample lessons...

After the training session, teachers will teach their students safe swimming skills, contributing to building a safe environment for them to develop holistically in both physical and mental aspects.
