Spreading the spirit of creativity through STEM Day

Students introduced their products at the STEM Day

With the theme “Discovering and creating every day”, the STEM Day featured the participation of 40 competition products from primary schools across the district, including: animal park model, utility watch, movie projector, nutrition tower, friendly house, and happy garden, etc.

These products were completed by students after a process of implementing STEM education, designing lessons, and integrating interdisciplinary subjects with high practical applicability.

In the context of strong globalization and the digital age, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to apply knowledge into practice have become essential requirements for every student. Therefore, STEM education - integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics - has become an important direction in educational innovation, especially at the primary level, where the foundation for children's thinking and character is laid.

Since the academic year of 2023 - 2024, STEM education has been widely implemented at the primary level. The education and training sector has focused on directing and implementing STEM-oriented teaching through training sessions, workshops, and demonstration lessons.

The Primary STEM Day is not only a movement activity, but also a practical step in spreading the spirit of discovery, arousing creative thinking, and promoting a continuous learning spirit in every student.
