Three students in Hue are chosen to participate in 2025 International and Regional Olympiads

Accordingly, in mathematics subject, 6 contestants were selected to participate in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO); while in physics, 8 contestants were chosen to join the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO); in chemistry, 4 students were selected to participate in the International Chemistry Olympiad (ICHO); 4 candidates in biology team were selected to join the International Biology Olympiad (IBIO), and in informatics, 15 students were chosen to participate in Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO).

In this exam, Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted had 4 students participating in it, including 2 students in biology and 2 in physics. As a result, 3 students were selected to join the national team for International and Regional Olympiads with rather high scores. Typically, Bui Hoang Dai Duong was chosen to participate in the International Biology Olympiad; while Tran Trung Hieu and Tran Le Thien Nhan were selected to join the Asian Physics Olympiad.

Taking place from March 25 to 27, the exam for choosing national teams for 2025 International and Regional Olympiads, which was held by the Ministry of Education and Training, had the participation of 187 candidates from 37 educational institutions all over the country. This competition was held to identify and nurture young talents, who would represent Vietnam in international competitions. Their achievements not only affirm the quality of Vietnam’s specialized education but also inspire the movement of learning and researching among students nationwide.
