At the program, leaders of the City Border Guard Command and partner units visited, encouraged, and shared the hardships faced by households affected by natural disasters. At the same time, they gave out 260 gift packages, each valued at 500.000 VND, to disadvantaged households in A Luoi 5 Commune.

On this occasion, the units also donated 20 million VND for the “Adopted Children of Border Guard Posts” Fund for Huong Nguyen Border Guard Post.

The total value of the gifts and financial support amounted to 150 million VND.

This was a practical activity demonstrating the care, responsibility, and sentiment of officers and soldiers of the City Border Guard, together with partner units, toward residents in border areas.

Previously, the City Border Guard Command had given 100 gift packages to disadvantaged residents and students in A Luoi 4 Commune.
