Tourist Arrivals in Hue Surge by over 230% during National Day Holiday
HNN.VN - During this year’s National Day holiday, from August 29 to September 2, Hue City was estimated to welcome over 651,000 tourist arrivals, up about 231% year on year.

The average room occupancy rate at accommodation establishments reached about 95%. In particular, on the peak days of August 29, 30 and 31, many accommodation facilities were fully booked.
During the National Day holiday, Hue City hosted a wide range of events and festivals that attracted large numbers of visitors. Notably, the Hue International Heritage and Music Festival - Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026 was estimated to draw 70,000 visitors on its first day and around 50,000 on the second day. Meanwhile, the Hue Thanh Tra Festival attracted an estimated of 15,000 visitors, while the ‘Independence Day - Colors of A Luoi’ Highland Market welcomed approximately 7,000 visitors…
The surge in tourist arrivals, coupled with strong growth in tourism revenue, further underscores Hue’s appeal as a destination, contributing to providing fresh momentum for the city’s tourism sector in the final months of 2026.
