Hue has three students exempted from the 2026 National High School Graduation Exam
HNN.VN - The principal of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted announced that Hue City has three 12th-grade students exempted from the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination and granted priority direct admission to universities and colleges. All three students are from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

The students exempted from the examination are: Tran Thanh Binh, 12th grade specialized physics class; Nguyen Doan Quoc Anh, 12th grade specialized chemistry class; and Vo Huy Hoang, 12th grade specialized biology class. All three students won Second prizes at the national level and participated in the Selection Examination for National teams competing in the 2026 international and regional Olympiads.
According to the list announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, a total of 151 students nationwide this year are exempted from the National High School Graduation Examination and granted priority direct admission to universities and colleges. Among them are 37 students from the mathematics team, 29 from the physics team, 28 from the chemistry team, 27 from the biology team, and 30 from the informatics team.
The Ministry of Education and Training requested Departments of Education and Training to implement the exam exemption for these students in the 2025 - 2026 National High School Graduation Examination in accordance with current examination regulations. At the same time, universities, academies, and colleges are required to carry out priority direct admissions for 2026 in line with existing regulations.
This achievement further confirms the quality of gifted student training at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, as well as the efforts of the city’s education sector in discovering and nurturing talented students.
