Enhancing the Use of ‘Doctor for Every Home’ System

HNN.VN - On the morning of October 1, Hue Department of Health, in coordination with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), held a training session on using the ‘Doctor for Every Home’ system to support the implementation of telemedicine services across the city.

During the training, participants learned how to use the public-facing application, as well as the way to manage appointment requests, conduct remote medical consultations, and monitor patient care. The session also covered support for professional consultations, the exchange and interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic imaging results, as well as data monitoring, supervision, and reporting…

According to leaders of Hue Department of Health, during the implementation of the two-tier local government model, the city’s health sector has proactively reorganized and streamlined its healthcare network to improve efficiency, with an aim to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of medical examinations and treatment, disease prevention and control, and public healthcare services. In this context, the application of technology and digital transformation has been identified as key measures to bring healthcare services closer to the public.

The ‘Doctor for Every Home’ program focuses on 3 key areas, including improving healthcare knowledge and skills in telemedicine for medical staff; supporting the management and treatment of certain non-communicable diseases and tuberculosis, as well as improving healthcare services for victims of bombs and mines and people with disabilities; gradually connecting and integrating data between the ‘Doctor for Every Home’ system and the system of medical examination and treatment information at selected healthcare facilities.
