In the academic year of 2024 - 2025, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University has a training scale of 3,500 students, including undergraduate, post-graduate, and research students. The university currently offers 19 undergraduate programs, 11 master's programs, and 9 doctoral programs. The university’s staff and employees total 335, including 228 lecturers, 37 professors and associate professors, and 114 doctors.
In the academic year of 2024-2025, the university is focusing on enhancing the quality of education, closely linking it with the practical needs of production and society. Its emphasis is placed on cooperation with enterprises in training to improve the practical abilities of students. Research activities and technology transfer are also being promoted. Besides, the nurturing of scientific research results is considered important, with the goal of having commercial scientific and technological products in the future, which are valuable in production and transfer.
In addition, the university is strengthening the administrative system, making effective use of management methods via software, information, and electronic systems. Numerous practical activities will be organized to foster a cheerful, united, and collaborative atmosphere throughout the university, laying the foundation for the sustainable development of the University of Agriculture and Forestry in the coming period.
On the occasion of the academic year opening ceremony, thanks to the companionship of organizations, enterprises, alumni, and lecturers, the University of Agriculture and Forestry awarded 427 million VND in scholarships to 165 students, including the top scorer of the university, top scorers of each major, and students with difficult circumstances; along with 854 gifts to all freshers; among them, there are 9 Laotian students.
