18 students with difficult circumstances receive scholarships from AEJJR Sponsorship Fund

HNN.VN - As part of a chain of activities to respond to Humanitarian Month 2023, on May 21, Hue City Red Cross Society awarded scholarships of the second quarter to 18 students overcoming difficult circumstances in their studies.

AEJJR Sponsorship Fund accompanying students with progressive learning outcomes

On this occasion, 6 students including 4 senior high school students, 7 others from junior high schools, and 1 primary school student were awarded the scholarships.

Each scholarship costs 1.800.000 VND, equivalent to 3 months, which is worth 600.000 VND/month.

In the second quarter of 2023, AEJJR Sponsorship Fund supported students with a total value of 32.400.000 VND.

The AEJJR Sponsorship Fund is supported by the Alumni Association of Jean Jacque Rousseau Saigon School (AEJJR) through Doctor of Literature Vinh Dao – a son of Hue who found and has maintained the fund.

The AEJJR Sponsorship Fund accompanies students with progressive learning outcomes till the day they get university graduation. This is a meaningful and practical activity, contributing to helping them overcome difficulties and reach achievement in their studies.
