Groundbreaking ceremony for EON Industry Vietnam helmet manufacturing factory project

HNN.VN - On the morning of March 26, the groundbreaking ceremony for the EON Industry Vietnam helmet manufacturing factory was held at Gilimex Industrial Park (Phu Bai Ward, Huong Thuy Town). The project is invested by EON Industry Vietnam Co., Ltd., a member of EON helmet group.

The EON Industry Vietnam helmet manufacturing factory project has a scale of about 6.1 hectares, with a total investment capital of over 290 billion VND.

Eon Industry Vietnam factory has set a goal of topping out the factory in June, completing the factory construction in October, installing machinery and equipment in November, and commissioning the factory in December of 2024.

EON helmet group is one of the prestigious and experienced groups globally in the field of design, development and production of specialized helmets for sports and helmets for many activities, such as helmets for bicycles, motorbikes, skis, skateboards, and rollerblades, etc. The group already has many factories in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and the Southern provinces in Vietnam.

 Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong looked over a helmet model produced by the EON Industry Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong highly evaluated the investor's choice when deciding to develop the project in Thua Thien Hue, the center of the Central region's dynamic zone, and in the Gilimex Industrial Park, located in a convenient transportation location, with a basically completed infrastructure, and right next to Phu Bai International Airport.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong requested that the consulting units and contractors strictly follow construction standards and regulations; ensure the quality, safety of works, labor safety and environmental hygiene; and must not let the construction process affect the life, production and living of the locals in the project's neighboring area.

At the same time, he requested that the departments, branches, localities, especially the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board, and the People's Committee of Huong Thuy Town continue to pay attention and create the most favorable conditions for the investor to accelerate the construction progress; regularly monitor, inspect, and timely support the investor to solve problems arising during the implementation process.
