Hue city’s tourism revenue increased by 21%

The conference was held on July 3, and chaired by Chairman of Hue city’s People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh.

In the first six months of this year, there were many important events taking place in Hue city; especially, Hue Festival 2018 together with its cultural activities and festivals. These caused tourism activities to happen rather eventfully, promote retail activities and the consumption of handicrafts products.

In particular, tourism revenue reached over VND 1,471 billion, increasing by 21% over the same period; the production value of industry - cottage industry reached VND 3,830 billion, increasing by nearly 13%; total retail sales of goods and services reached over VND 14,680 billion, growing by 11%; and total budget revenue reached nearly VND 600 billion, rising up to 0.01%.
