An Cuu Ward Hosts Full Moon Festival for Nearly 500 Children
HNN.VN - On the evening of September 25, An Cuu Ward People’s Committee held the 2026 Full Moon Festival for nearly 500 children in the ward, featuring a variety of recreational activities, musical performances, a lantern procession, and a traditional Mid-Autumn feast.

The program opened with the ‘Lanterns of the Stars’ procession, joined by around 200 students from Duy Tan Secondary School and Dang Van Ngu Primary School. The two groups set off from Duy Tan Secondary School campus on Street No. 14 in An Cuu Urban Area, and Dang Van Ngu Primary School on Nguyen Duy Trinh Street, then made their way to An Cuu Ward People’s Committee headquarters.
A highlight of the lantern procession was the collection of large lanterns featuring meaningful and playful designs created by students from the participating schools. Combined with LED lights, 100 star-shaped lanterns, unicorn dance troupes, and traditional festival drums, the procession created a lively and colorful Mid-Autumn atmosphere along the streets.
Following the lively lantern procession, nearly 500 children from across the ward joined the ‘Full Moon Festival’, featuring clown performances, traditional drums, lion and dragon dances, and musical performances by students from Huyen Tran Primary School, An Dong Kindergarten, An Cuu Kindergarten and Unity Dance Studio.
Alongside the recreational activities, the children also enjoyed a traditional Mid-Autumn feast, celebrating the festival together in a warm and joyful atmosphere.
On the same day, An Cuu Ward Police, in coordination with A Luoi 1 Commune Police, held a Mid-Autumn Festival event at Hong Kim Primary School. The delegation presented 10 bicycles to disadvantaged students, along with Mid-Autumn gifts and moon cakes for the children.
