"Step" exhibition opens

HNN.VN - "Step" is the name of the exhibition of Ms Hoang Thi Ngoc An, a painter. It was recently opened by French Institute in Hue on the afternoon of July 17.

The exhibition introduces 26 colored powder works on poonah-paper or acrylic on black paper. These works show a unique combination between European and Asian art in the creation of  Ms.Hoang Thi Ngoc An, as she combines European drawing techniques with Vietnamese poonah-paper material.

Ngoc An's paintings are watercolors works which look like a journey in art. The works often show her inspiration about the people’s beauty, the desire to return to the homeland, friends and childhood, such as Returning, Trace, Dance, Supplication, Meditation ...

Ms. Hoang Thi Ngoc An is a painter of Hue origin, currently living in Belgium. She has held many exhibitions in Belgium and Hue.

The exhibition takes place until August 3.
