Nearly 63,000 visitors to Hue Museum of Fine Arts

HNN.VN - In 2024, Hue Museum of Fine Arts welcomed nearly 63,000 visitors to its two art exhibition spaces as well as various thematic exhibitions and cultural-artistic activities.

On January 17th, Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of Hue Museum of Fine Arts, shared that this figure exceeded the museum's planned target by 20%.

According to Ms. Trai, in addition to the regular operation of Le Ba Dang Art Center and Diem Phung Thi Art Center, the museum organized 13 display and exhibition activities in 2024. It also advised the procurement council to acquire four artworks by four artists.

The museum also strengthened collaboration with international organizations and individuals to host cultural-artistic activities, learning exchanges, and provide professional training for museum staff. Additionally, the museum welcomed and worked with experts, artists, and curators from France, Germany, New Zealand, and Singapore to exchange knowledge about exhibition management, storage, artwork preservation, media education, and curatorial practices.

In 2025, the museum aims to attract 65,000 - 67,000 visitors and host more exhibitions and displays. Efforts will also focus on acquiring valuable artworks, developing a digital transformation project for inventory, archiving, and preservation processes.
