Experts from member units of Hue University have promoted scientific research and international publishing activities
In the rankings, Hue University rose its position to the 401 - 450 group of Asia, and ranked 6th among 11 Vietnamese higher education institutions in the list. In comparison to the position in the 451 - 500 group in the two rankings of 2019 and 2020, Hue University has begun to show its transformation upward in accordance with the development strategy, confirming its important progress on the path to approaching the top 300 leading universities in Asia, and making Hue University to soon become a National University according to the Resolution No. 54 of the Politburo, the Resolution No. 83 of the Government, and the Resolution of the Sixth Party Congress of Hue University.
Beyond the rank, it is more interesting that the ranking indicators of Hue University have seen the improvement year by year. In terms of the ranking by each indicator, in this year’s rankings, Hue University has the continental ranking of 8 indicators increasing compared to the QS Asia University Rankings 2020; especially, the ranking of the "Employer Reputation" indicator ranks 200th in Asia for the first time.
In terms of scores for each ranking indicators, 6 out of 11 indicators have been increased, and even making very sharp increase.
The ranking of Hue University on the latest rankings
Taking a look at the performance results via the statistical indicators of QS, most of the indicators of Hue University have increased significantly over the years. For example, the “papers per faculty” indicator is at 0.18; and 0.30 in the rankings of 2019, and 2020 respectively. Similarly, the “citations per paper” indicator of Hue University is at 2.69; and 2.87 in the rankings of 2019, and 2020 respectively.
